Seeking Teachers and Counselors

 

We are currently seeking to hire creative, enthusiastic, nurturing and responsible teachers and counselors for the summer of 2014 (June 30 - August 15).

Qualifications:

  • at least one year of experience working with children
  • expertise and experience in the subject of instruction (for teachers)
  • Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certified a plus but not required
  •

    Compensation:

      • Teachers (varies depending on experience and expertise)
      • Counselors ($8/hour)
      • Junior Counselors ($6.25/hour)

    Counselor in Training Program

    We have created a Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for 14 and 15 year olds (as of June 30, 2014). There are 2 to 4 CIT positions at each campus. Primary responsibilities include assisting the teacher in classes, assisting counselors during breaks and lunch and hallway supervision. Training include CPR and First Aid certification. This is an upaid position. Candidates must commit to 35 hours per week for a minimum of 5 weeks. Selected CITs will be rehired as Junior Counselors once they reach the age of 16.
